Community Code of Conduct
As a member of 22 Vanderbilt, you are part of a professional environment designed to support high-level work, wellbeing, and connection. To uphold this standard, all members and their guests are expected to follow the behavioral and operational guidelines outlined in this Code of Conduct.
This Code forms part of your Membership Agreement. Violations may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges at the sole discretion of 22 Vanderbilt Management.
1. Respect for Community
Treat all members, guests, staff, and vendors with courtesy and professionalism.
Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
Verbal or physical aggression, offensive language, and disruptive conduct are strictly prohibited.
2. Use of Space
Members are expected to leave shared spaces, including meeting rooms, lounges, and phone booths, in clean and respectful condition.
Furniture and fixtures may not be moved without prior authorization.
Members may not monopolize communal spaces or use amenity areas as primary workspaces unless otherwise permitted.
Our amenity spaces are open Monday through Friday, save major holidays. Their operating hours are as follows:
Wellness Center: 6:30 am - 6 pm
AM Bergamo's: 8 am - 1 pm
Bergamo's Bar: Opens at 4 pm
The Clock Coffee Shop: 7:30 am - 4 pm
Melangerie: 8 am - 3 pm
Melangerie Bar: Opens at 2 pm
7th Floor Commons: 8 am - 6 pm
7th Floor Terrace: 9 am - 5 pm
Members Suite: 7:30 am - 7 pm
The Palm Court /Lobby: 8 am - 8 pm
Please note that certain areas may be temporarily unavailable due to private bookings or scheduled programming. Operating hours are subject to change.
3. Guest Conduct
Members are responsible for their guests at all times. Guests are expected to adhere to all guidelines in this Code.
Guest access may be subject to time limits, registration, or additional policies, which members are responsible for reviewing and communicating.
Children under the age of 18 are not permitted as part of the membership and may not access Club spaces at any time.
4. Noise & Privacy
Please be mindful of volume levels, especially in open lounges. Phone booths and meeting rooms are provided for calls and video meetings.
Personal audio devices must be used with headphones. Public projection of sound is not permitted.
Respect the privacy of others; photography or video recording is not permitted without explicit consent.
5. Health, Safety & Security
Smoking, vaping, and drug use (including cannabis) are prohibited in all areas.
Dogs are generally prohibited from entering the building, unless they are specifically identified and registered with the building as Emotional Support or Service animals.
Weapons and hazardous materials are not permitted on premises.
In the event of suspicious behavior or safety concerns, please notify staff immediately.
6. Wellness Center
Members are expected to follow posted signage and respect shared use of amenities.
Wipe down equipment after use and return items to their proper place.
Belongings should not be left unattended. 22 Vanderbilt is not responsible for lost or stolen items. A lost and found is maintained on-site; unclaimed items will be held for up to 60 days before being discarded or donated.
7. Cleanliness and Food Policies
Please dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.
Outside food is not permitted in designated food and beverage areas, including The Clock, Bergamo's, and Melangerie. The lobby is a food-free zone; only covered beverages are permitted in that area.
Member Lounge kitchenettes are self-service; please leave them tidy.
8. Technology & Equipment
Use of multiple screens or extensive personal tech setups is prohibited in common areas. Please limit the use of monitors to the designated section of the Member Suite.
Power, WiFi, and connectivity tools are provided for your convenience and may not be tampered with or reconfigured.
9. Prohibited Activities
Solicitation, unauthorized promotion, or any commercial activity not aligned with 22 Vanderbilt’s values is not allowed.
Sharing of access credentials, key cards, or locker codes is prohibited and may result in deactivation.
10. Accountability & Enforcement
If you witness any harassment, discrimination, or unacceptable behavior, or have a concern, please notify a member of the 22 Vanderbilt Membership team or email us at membership@22vanderbilt.com. All reports will be handled confidentially and promptly. By speaking up, you help keep the community safe and informed.
22 Vanderbilt reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership privileges at any time, for any behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with this Code.
