22 Vanderbilt is evolving

As part of our ongoing commitment to a welcoming lobby experience that prioritizes our tenant community, we will be introducing enhancements to building access and guest check-in procedures.

Beginning Thursday, March 19, 2026, these updates will take effect.

Access
Entry through the Madison Avenue and 43rd Street entrances (at the top of the stairs near The Clock Coffee Shop) will require a valid building credential, a physical access card, a mobile credential via the building app, or a QR code for guests.

The Vanderbilt Avenue entrance will become tenant-exclusive. 

Guest Registration
To ensure a seamless arrival experience, we encourage you to pre-register guests in advance. Upon arrival, your guests will be warmly greeted and directed to check in at a designated desk. Hospitality-trained Lobby Liaisons will be stationed Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, to assist. Outside of those hours, guests may check in at the Palm Court Main Desk.

Dining & Amenities
The Chef’s Counter and Bar at Melangerie will transition to a more private experience for our community and registered guests during breakfast, lunch, and bar service.

Bergamo’s will continue to welcome outside patrons by reservation, while you may enjoy both reservations and walk-in access at any time.

The Clock will remain open to the public via the 43rd Street entrance.

  • Yes. The following dining venues remain open to the public during operating hours:

    • The Clock

    • Bergamo's

    However, access to the Palm Court requires tenant sponsorship or appropriate credentials.

    Melangerie is now reserved for tenants and registered guests.

  • To maintain a secure and elevated environment for tenants, building access is now credential-based. Public access is limited to designated dining venues during their operating hours.

  • Expanded access to curated spaces, dining experiences, and hospitality offerings may be available through membership opportunities.
